The Permitting group has three basic job positions; Crew Manager, GIS/Data Manager, and Permit Agent. Below are the individual duties and responsibilities for each of these positions.

Title: Crew Manager ————— Reports To: Vice President
- Ensure compliance of company policies/procedures by all employees
- Ensure operations are conducted to a high standard which meets or exceeds client requirements
- Ensure proper quality control procedures are utilized
- Effectively control costs
- Active participation in operational and HSE issues and planning
- Cooperate and communicate with client, permit agents, survey crew, drill crew and recording crew to maximize efficiencies
- Obtain approved variances
- Communicate approved variances to all project personnel
- Participate in the project start up meetings and ensure an absolute understanding of all topics discussed
- Ensure that the organizational structure for the project is understood by all involved, including both DAS personnel and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with local, State and Federal regulation
- Participate in the daily permit meetings and ensure an absolute understanding of all topics discussed
- Ensure subordinates and subcontractors understand all Permit, DAS and Client requirements and communication channels
- Ensure landowner, mineral owner and/or tenant instructions/stipulations have been passed on to the necessary crews and personnel
- QC data and update maps
- QC access map (Surveyors)
- Supervise subordinates and subcontractors
- Organize and coordinate the daily activities of subordinates and subcontractors
- Schedule employee work breaks and rotations of assigned personnel
- Order equipment and supplies and approve expenditures
- Release crews and personnel from the project once operations have been completed to the satisfaction of the client
- Completes all necessary paperwork
- Maintenance, care and inventory of all assigned equipment
- Ensure the office is kept clean and orderly
- Complete daily production report and distribute to all applicable parties
- Create and turn in weekly project summary to Vice President
- Inform Vice President of any problems and/or concerns
- Active participation in all safety/tailgate meetings

- Acquire and prepare all pertinent ownership data
- Maintain all surface and mineral data, database, and mapping
- Create weekly permit status maps
- Archival of all data for final deliverables

- Ensure compliance of company policies/procedures
- Ensure operations are conducted to a high standard which meets or exceeds client requirements
- Ensure proper quality control procedures are utilized
- Effectively control costs
- Cooperate and communicate with other permit agents, survey crew, drill crew and recording crew to maximize efficiencies
- Active participation in HSE issues
- Participate in the permit project start up meetings and ensure an absolute understanding of all topics discussed
- Completes all necessary paperwork
- Active participation in all safety/tailgate meetings
- Inform crew manager of any problems and/or concerns
- Research ownership for surface and/or minerals
- Negotiate and acquire necessary surface and/or mineral permits for crew access
- Support surveying, drilling, and recording phases making sure permit stipulations are followed, and addressing problems as the issues arise
